What would be my biggest regret?
Might it be that I didn't work hard enough at my job or that I didn't make enough money?
Could it be that I didn't see enough of the world, travel to enough far off lands?
Would it be that I didn't win enough games or contests or prizes?
Might it be that I didn't spend enough time reading great novels?
Could it be that I didn't exercise enough or eat healthy enough?
Would it be that I didn't prove myself sufficiently intelligent?
Might it be that I spent too much time at my job or at trying to prove myself?
If the following came to be, it would be none of these measly things.
If on the day you die, you stand before God and wonder why I never told you He was real, that would be my greatest regret of all.
That you could know God's love, yet never did, and never would for all of eternity, because I didn't tell you enough, that would be the greatest regret of all.
So let me tell you now: God is real, and He loves you. I can't "prove" it to you, but He can reveal it, and He will if you let Him.
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away" - Jesus (Matthew 24:35)
Know it, feel it, believe it.
Risk ridicule and shame to share it.
